HOW TO CHANGE WIFI PASSWORD

To change your WiFi password, follow these general steps. Please note that the exact process might vary slightly depending on your router model and its interface:

  1. Access Router Settings: Open a web browser on a device connected to your WiFi network. In the address bar, type the IP address of your router. Common router IP addresses include 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1. Press Enter.
  2. Login to Router: You'll be prompted to enter a username and password. If you've never changed these, you might find default credentials in the router's manual or on a sticker on the router itself. It's recommended to change these credentials for security reasons.
  3. Navigate to Wireless Settings: Once logged in, look for the "Wireless" or "WiFi" section in the router's settings. The exact wording might differ depending on your router model.
  4. Change WiFi Password: Inside the Wireless settings, look for "Security" or "Security Settings." Here, you can find the option to change your WiFi password. Select the security type (e.g., WPA2) and enter the new password you want to set.
  5. Save Settings: After entering the new password, save the settings. Some routers might require you to apply the changes before they take effect.
  6. Reconnect Devices: Once you've changed the WiFi password, all devices connected to your network will be disconnected. You'll need to reconnect them using the new password.

Remember that if you change your WiFi password, you'll need to update the password on all devices that connect to your network, including phones, laptops, smart TVs, and IoT devices.

If you're not comfortable with changing WiFi settings yourself, you might want to contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) or consult your router's user manual for specific instructions tailored to your router model
